Testing out a new 3D printed M3 running gear. This may become a kit I sell. It uses the Henglong M4A3 running gear parts and is a fairly easy swap to do. The bogies are 3D printed and equipped with bearings running on an 1/72 (1.8mm) x 1" screw and nut which works out almost to scale for the nut on the outside. These wheels are Shapeways but I prefer my own 3D printed where the tire is seperate from the wheel. Also a hell of a lot cheaper!!! Going to have to wait a bit for actual testing...

Yeah shapeways are expensive which is why I will just drill the a3 wheels. It won’t be exact but close enough for me.
The bogies cost enough with out buying wheels aswell
