Hi Stewart Here are a couple of shots of the inside managed to fit 2 batteries in this is partly down to cutting the speaker down and moving stuff around its a squeeze but its all and working .

Chris my painting is so bad have to hide it under a ton off muck which for tanks isnt bad ,but if it were say a car I would be goosed,I always paint mine then fit the electrics it picks up lots of chips and scratchs when Im doing it helps make it look battle damaged ,more than once a tank has been chucked across the bench when something has gone wrong this normaly gets some real damage to it .Dont see many tanks the day they roll off the assembly line even then the paint wont be showroom finish

LOL! I know what you mean Pete. If I make a mistake I can just 'scruff it up' a bit. Good job my shed is away from the house and (more or less) soundproof. They say gardeners talk to their plants, well I often 'talk' to my tanks! The language and expletives can be quite colourful! 

How did you do the dust effect Pete? Is it dry-brushed on or did you use a thinned wash?

Hi Chris The dust is MIG pigments called rubble dust,I just brush it on dry and rub in with brush,It can be done wet and you get a differnt effect.If you dont like what you have it can be washed off.

I've got some MIG pigments but I've always used them with thinners or mixed with something else - never dry. I must give that a go.

Hi Chris I usually do it wet on the lower hull to get a real muddy effect ,but dry on the upper hull to get a dusty effect.

Hi guys Had it out yesterday to range test the battle system because it has different I.R.eimmitter and sensors and the range is very good full lenght of drive up the side of the house and half the rear garden ,havnt measured it but my BBs never went that far ,it was still hitting and receving hits couldnt take it any further without going onto the road .
So Chris those sensors work fine has do the emmitters just have to wire them differently .

That's good news Pete. Glad the hidden sensors have worked out. I still need to do some range checks with my newer builds.

Hi Pete. Not been in on your build for a while. I tell you what, that looks like a very busy Sherman. It's seen some action mate and all looking tip top. Really good Pete, makes my Sherman look.............just boring.!!
