Re: Mato Numpty
I'm not that great at alterations, but can change parts. It's when cutting and reshaping I have issues.

Re: Mato Numpty
You did good
Getting harder to find, and if the board turns out to be dud, you can't complain, but if it works, you got a bonus
One thing I'll say about Haya, they do look after their customers

Re: Mato Numpty
I wasnt expecting the board to be there. Just wondering what I can replace it with, because of the 12 pin plug instead of the 9 pin ?

Re: Mato Numpty
8 pin you mean? Forgebear sells the small boards https://www.forgebeartanks.com/store/p9 ... _Tank.html so you'll just need to figure out what all the wires do.
For wiring, either talk to Dave (Forgebear) or https://www.componentshop.co.uk/leads-a ... leads.html and buy by the number of pins you want. Component Shop will also make up two pin leads if you ask nicely: I use them to allow me to reposition the boards. Adding extra wire between the upper & lower hull also means you can remove the battery box & put the battery in from the top: this reduces the chances of snapping stowage off when turning it upside down.
