Re: Tamiya turret rotaion motors
You could probably fit some small plastic wedges into the clutch mechanism to increase the spring tension enough to make it function properly. But still giving some slip when needed.

Hi Pete
I've glued the clutch gear solid on some of my Tamiya turret-turn units. You can also twist a bag-tie around the gear frame to stop it flexing.
Cheers

Re: Tamiya turret rotation motors
I have glued up the rotation clutch in my pershing and also glued the elevation and slew clutches in the Jagdpanther
Re: Tamiya turret rotation motors
If you dont want to mess with the glue you can buy the Tamiya 6 speed gearbox it comes with 4 blue gears the same size as the slipper clutch item #72005
I think it sales for under $10.00 still .
