The Arromanche Sherman

Post by wibblywobbly »

I have been to Arromanche a zillion times, but always forgot to take pics of the Sherman, so here's a couple I took yesterday. I saw a Churchill on the way back to the port but as it was dark and had a ferry to catch I will have to get a snap some other time.

Thats not my lid, it belongs to a friends wife. We actually hid behind the Sherman and pretended we had gone without her!  ;D

Here are some more pics from earlier visits. They are from the British War Cemetery at Bayeaux.

Yes if funds will allow. I was wondering if the forum would maybe do a club visit? Anyone else interested in joining us?

I'd better get my passport renewed then.

Oh BTW. Rocketman, is Billys par le vue France-a  up to the task or should we bring a phase book?
