I have been to Arromanche a zillion times, but always forgot to take pics of the Sherman, so here's a couple I took yesterday. I saw a Churchill on the way back to the port but as it was dark and had a ferry to catch I will have to get a snap some other time.

cheers for sharing wibbly, I hope to take a trip to France someday and visit the D-Day beaches ect... as I have never been.

Thats not my lid, it belongs to a friends wife. We actually hid behind the Sherman and pretended we had gone without her!

Now theres somewhere I've always wanted to go. Nice pics too WW. I cant help noticing they've painted the tracks on that Sherman though... Tut. Couldnt get the track pins out eh?
