The 1/18 scale isn't to bad to mod" I used H,L,electronics with a Tamia twin motor block the lower hull I cut totally away and remodel it lowering the drive train about 10mm that in refitting raised the body about 25mm so it looks not so out of place against my tanks,

Fitted steering from a 1/20 cheap rc car,had to do some serious cutting to get it all to work but it in had a sill burn out on M,F,U, put a more powerful motor in and it blow things, live an learn, this conversation has been a long slow process of ideas you do one thing then you have to alter something and that how it gone, but almost finished

Not sure how I missed this but mine has been runnig for about 2 years now. In fact I've logged so many miles I have to re-do some of the rubber road wheels cause they broke.

Mine has a working turret, full working suspension front and rear, metal tracks, twin motors, IBU2, H/L smoker, and full sound.
Mine's been sitting for about a year now, tried to sell it but no one wanted it unless I was damn near giving it away! $200 for all of the above? LMAO!

I'll see if I can get some video for you guys later.

Here's one I did years ago, so long ago that I can't remember how I did it?? I think it was a cheap pair of esc's, a micro servo, and one of those Tamiya style gearbox drives, with the axle cut in half to allow independent track control. I do recall it was all a very tight fit, but I did get most of the interior back in, at least enough to conceal the electrics. It was running off AA batteries concealed down each side under the seats, hence not a lot of power.
