Torro have a charging jack point on the rear plate of their tigers, so no need to take the top off the tank.
Maybe you could rig yours up the same ?

That may be fine for cheapo batteries but not LiPo and I'd personally rather use a good charger with peak detection etc for charging a NiMH pack (especially a 5,000 mAH pack!) than using a cheapo wall charger...

Yes I think that I agree regarding taking lipo batteries out of the tank for charging. I have ordered magnets to make removing the top of the hull easier. I have extended 2 of the shorter cables between the turret and the hull. The cable that is most problematic is the 8 pin turret connector cable. someone mentioned earlier that there was an extended version of the cables available so was wondering if anyone has one and where did they get it from??
