Good morning Capt.,
This might be apples to oranges but when I was building the Profiline resin\Taigen StuG III B, I was not able to use the smaller resin hinges supplied with the kit. ( the mongo ones for the front hatches were fine ) I went to the ASIATAM site. Their metal hinges did the trick for the upper casemate hatches and work to this day.
regards,

Re: Hatch hing pattern?
Thanks a lot to everyone for all the suggestions. I think Roy's picture just turned the trick!
While banging my head against the wall with the kit supplied hinges, it never occurred to me that I was tryiny to INSTALL THEM BACKWARDS!!
I'm gonna try and reverse them and see if I have any better luck. At least with grey hair now, I can just blame it on being old instead of addle minded!
