Tamiya Tanks in the UK
Re: Tamiya Tanks in the UK
Technically Roy but any duty £7 or under gets waived, with. Duty, at 2.5% means in reality anything under £280 ish won't incur anything. I think I'm getting confused with the higher rate duty, when I got my js2 I was just charged vat but when I got my Riva aquarama there was some duty added.

Re: Tamiya Tanks in the UK
The prices aren't all that far from what's available at my local hobby shop when you consider that these would get slapped with import duties and/or GST since they're over AU$1000, never mind shipping. Although I think it's funny that a "cheap" new Tamiya is over a grand. I might have chosen the wrong hobby.
(Yes Tom I know Tamiyas can be had for a tenner if you know where to look, but nobody knows where to look!
