Has any one converted a Hobby RC Abrams M1A2 Desert Tank to run with H/L system and be able fire air soft balls as well.

Hi Tackleberry,
The HE Leopard and Abrams have identical electronics and running gear. If you are going to replace the electronics you might aswell swap the running gear. I converted the HE Leopard 2-A5 to HL electronics and HL Pershing running gear a while ago and she's still running sweet.

PS: I didn't fit airsoft but I did give her a laser designator.

No problem. You will need an extra 20 track links per side if you are going to fit Pershing running gear.
