Steering axle pass through?
I have seen the 6x6 conversions using a pass through drive shaft on the rear axle, am I correct in thinking that the same can be done on the front axle steering axle, to allow a double steering set up?

Looking at it, I think it will work the same, only issue is getting the steering round but should be possible.

Will you bother with the progressive steering to top the second pair of steering wheels crabbing? Should be fun.

Re: Steering axle pass through?
I will try a Morris Quad first as that is a straight bodyshell. To get 4 wheel steering I'll need to buy another truck, plus an axle plus other bits, but they are all very cheap.

Re: Steering axle pass through?
Progressive steering should be fairly straight forward, using a shorter "lever" or servo arm depending how you want to go with it. Something like that would be far rob. I'm liking the idea of two motor drive several have adopted.
Re: Steering axle pass through?
No need for another truck, you can get all the parts separately on aliexpress just search WPLwibblywobbly wrote:I will try a Morris Quad first as that is a straight bodyshell. To get 4 wheel steering I'll need to buy another truck, plus an axle plus other bits, but they are all very cheap.
