The mail today brought my new servo tester and battery box power supply for it. So tonight was mount the bow MG servo night. I examined and hemmed and hawed quite a bit before coming up with something that worked smoothly enough through the 60 degree arc of the basic arm I had installed on the servo. I tested the recoil servo as well and it is working smoothly. ( Thanks Jack! ) Pics:

Good morning painless, interesting with the positioning of the battery, its exactly how I have repositioned it in the
mato Sherman but just behind the motors, its challenging trying to fit a quart into a pint pot.

Ludwig, Good Morning,
I got the idea from watching various Tiger builds over the years. If you wanted a smoker _and_ a larger speaker, something had to come up out of the lower hull tray. Taigen\Torro did something similar with their KV'2. Since their were no 'fenders' on the lower there, they mounted the Smoker on the upper in an elaborate metal frame. Whatever makes best use of the space I reckon. *chuckles* I'm glad to hear that your Sherman is progressing along!

Pardon my ignorance on servos, but does it sweep on a separate controller or is it triggered by the MG firing?

Good morning, Estnische,
The scope of what I don't know about these new tank MFUs is vast... I'm working with Max to see how I can combine those features on the Clark TK board. It may be something where I move a controller arm and press a toggle to get them both to work at once. Or as realism goes, sweep to find the target then fire the gun. *chuckles*

Mr Painless hello

Stian maybe able to map the channel with the MG sounds to a pot or dial in the remote control. Then the channel (say 7 or 8 ) for example can trigger the servo when that function on the Clark board is initiated. I've done this with my turningy 9xrpro radio

Thank you for the tip! Max had just picked the shipment of stuff from Customs yesterday so I expect he will be working along on getting that new radio and rx set up. ;o) He should see this.
