Good morning! Once again, you've read my mind. (Admittedly a Dick and Jane level flip through). I have one of those on the way from that fellow. Diorama Freak. I think he is related to the An-Bri-RC site somehow. I've used stuff from him on almost all the builds dating back to the 'Crackerbox Palace'

Please excuse me jumping in. The Schumo MG mount is actually very straightforward. I managed to assemble one for my Panther. If I can manage it, it should very easy for a man of your capabilities. I recall using superglue where glueing was required. Most of it swivels, so no glue needed.

The hardest part about almost any Schumo parts set is the careful removal of the bits from the parts tree and the sanding\filing to follow to remove the excess material. They are made of nickel silver and it is way up the Mohs scale from the zinc that MATO makes their parts out of. They go together excellently once the prep work is done. As for the MG kit, I managed to break the pin that holds the upper clamp to the actual mount and injured myself by drilling and tapping for a screw repair with regular HSS bits in my Dremel. The work got done and I can say the whole thing bolts together now *chuckles* Finger is almost healed and there is a set of solid moly drill bits on the way for the next time I have to drill on a Schumo piece. I recommend Schumo parts for your next Big Cat. ;o)

Gee Mr Painless that website is incredible. I must admit I've heard of them and seen some items for sale from time to time but this evening I honestly think I may have spent a good hour on there just looking around and writing down part numbers. Those parts are works of art The transmissions and motors listed are superb.
