So, the root cause really hasn't been fully addressed.machine wrote:I did have to lower the levels on the Rev up sound file and it's cracking is still there, but not as bad after the firmware update. Other than that I am fully enjoying the board

Re: IBU3 sound issues.
No updates has sorted mine. Good luck with the IBU 3 . It will certainly keep you busy.

Re: IBU3 sound issues.
The IBU2 Pro didn't have this problem, but the IBU3 does. Do all the IBU3s exhibit this behavior?
Any IBU3 users that don't have any static? Chime in.

Re: IBU3 sound issues.
For some reason now. When i push the stick down for the rev sound it also plays the drive noise.? But if i push the stick to the left ,it doesnt and revs better. But it really cant handle 2 sounds at the same time.

If Tankbear's IBU3's are all "fine" then yours must be defective.TANKYTOPY wrote:For some reason now. When i push the stick down for the rev sound it also plays the drive noise.? But if i push the stick to the left ,it doesnt and revs better. But it really cant handle 2 sounds at the same time.

Re: IBU3 sound issues.
I ended up selling my IBU3 so can't be any more help unfortunately. Mine was okay until the volume went over 60% or so and then started to crackle. I did a bit of fiddling with it but never fully resolved the issue and it was probably loud enough at 60% anyway.
In the end though I was really looking for a board that could be quickly moved between different models without manually re-configuring individual sounds and settings and IBU3 can't do that at present.
