Thats real smart Mr Soeren, not too much is a winner.
Very well executed getting the wavy edged green with no overspray
Love it

Thank you very mich, Sirs. As I already said, its This board that helped. Also, it was a good idea to try some modelkits before this. Still, there is a lot room to improve.
Re: Jagdpanther G2 base on Heng Long Hull
Long time no update,
I got the Shumo Sparetrack hangers and the Gun with mantlet. I have not to see, how to Mount both into existing parts.
Meanwhile I build some 1:35 scale kits and first got a Dragon Panther build as 11th Pz. Div in 1945. It has some unique camo, that is not often seen on WWII German armour. That got me to start reworking my Panther. You might remember that from the introduction section:

Now I got me the Taigen upper part, that is much better detailed than the previous heng Long Piece. And I couldnt resist the Aber Basic kit as well and started on it. I will build it like the 1:35 Panther.

Some update. Working on the ABER Basic Panther set, that I will split between the Jagdpanther and the Panther. There is also a late German clasps and clamps set, that I started Building for the tolls on both. Pictures Show the spare track hangers. Above is the Schumo set, below the ABER set. My opinion? I would think, that the ABER is worth the money, you get a lot of extras for not much of more paying - 55€ basic Panther set and 30€ the Schumo hangers. The Schumos have mor prominet weldlines, but I am not impressed with the hooks for securing the links, they dont fit into the holes, so I have to widen the latter.
Next is the Schumo barrel and mantlet. I will try to attach These to the Ludwig kit by means of a brass tube, glued to the mantlet. The mantlet, meant for the Tamiya kit, has no attachment points.

Re: Jagdpanther G2 base on Heng Long Hull
Some achievements:
Set the MG mantlet deeper into the hull, it was siting too high.
Second I figured a working way to mount the gunmantlet.
Good thing you think? Now I have another problem. The mantlet touches the lower section of the collar too early and I cant get proper gundepression. So I have to reconfigure 3 aspects: 1) check the angle of the lower section of the collar and maybe cut it up and make it steeper. 2) check the Pivot point of the gun assembly, and maybe move it farther Forwards. Unfortunately I glued my 1/35 model shut and cant check the position there, maybe I can get a clue from the exploded drawings in my book. 3) Mount the gun higher in the casemate, I guess I can still shorten the legs in the roof to where the gun assembly is mounted.

Started on the tracks.
Primed in Mig Black Primer, followed with nice thinned down Vallejo Panzer Aces Track Primer (pair below) and washed with thinned Abt 502 Industrial Earth with stippled in Raw Umber (top pair). Painted last evening the oils still need to dry.

Re: Jagdpanther G2 base on Heng Long Hull
Howdy. Despite messing around with the tracks I worked on the gun assembly. The whole setup was glued higher into the roof and further to the front. Unfortunately, this didn't help with the depression. The Shumo mantle is longer in the lower section compared to the HL piece. So I cut the collar up. Yesterday I closed the gap with .5mm styrene sheet and bot glue. The mantle moves around now like it should. The repositioning of the assembly means that it makes contact to the hull in extreme traverse left or right. So I have to shave off a bit. The collar section will be reshaped with apoxy sculpt then. Traverse and vertical fine movement should be working by then. Only the recoil needs mastering then.

Pictures...
build it up wiht styrene sheets... Added about 8-10mm depth
Just now I gave it a layer of Apoxy Sculpt. We will see how the mantlet fits then. Maybe I will have to regrind it a bit, especially in the Corners.
