MY post was more a question than a comment! I have also bought this Tiger, and wanted to know if any of the Tigers operating in Normandy were still the two colour camo?

According to the attached sheet, the Normandy Tigers had the three tone camo scheme, courtesy of Bison Decals - 1:35 scale.

Driving the Tiger through the mud was worth it.
Now that it has dried, the effect adds some realism to the overall effect.

Apologies for the rubbish kitchen background in the last shot.

I should have bought an airbrush a long time ago - such good fun !
"222" is a bit muddier now....

I'll take another photo in a more realistic setting.

Thanks Marko - the railway is 1:22, but if the tanks are placed front of shot, perspective takes care of the scale difference.

I do like your shots with the railway, it populates a scale world that is all too often full of nothing but trees and military equipment.
