Hi Guys, and thanks for all the kind words.
First, to Andy, I didn't actually have those screens here, I ordered them from Imex specifically for you. You're a great guy that's been through a lot of crap lately and I wanted you to know how valuable a member we all think you are. I only wish I could have gotten them there before you painted the tanks, but I know screens aren't too bad for repainting.
And Jack is right, I'm not leaving the hobby, just needed to raise some fast cash to get out of a bad place. I didn't post the sale here for a variety of reasons, the first and foremost being that the shipping from Detroit to the UK for anything larger than decals and such is absolutely horrendous.
Also, when I had a problem with my cat, Nancy, you guys were beyond fabulous. Not one single one of the guys at RCU donated to the gofundme page, but the guys here at RCTW donated enough money to cover the entire biopsy so all I had to handle was the blood work. I appreciated that more than I can say, so when this happened the last thing I wanted to do was burden you guys with another one of my problems. I sold off enough stuff to make the move, but those here in the states that were paying attention may have noticed that I didn't sell any of the camera gear. Can't make tank movies with no cameras, eh?
So I'll still be around, you ain't gettin' rid of me that easy.
And for all the guys that commented on the generosity of the members at RCTW, you're absolutely right, this is the most astonishing community I've ever belonged to, and I'm looking forward to many more years of friendship and good times with everyone here. You guys really are the best and I'm glad (and proud) that you call me one of your own.
When FDR coined the phrase "The Arsenal of Democracy", he was talking about Detroit. Proud to live in the 2nd most violent city in America!!
