Hi does anyone have the dimensions of the pak43 shells used in the KT or Jagdtiger (either full size or scale would do)? I have to build the shell cupboards for the Nashorn and hope to put some 3d printed shells in them but need the sizes. I have done my usual google search but can't find the dimensions, just wondered if anyone had come across them before.

The PaK 43 is the 88mm
Jagd used two-section ammo and was 128mm !
I got some 5.56 plastic tipped projectiles for use as warheads, but not got around to fitting them to the 88mm shell cases yet.
They look real close.
Thanks Herman and Jamie for the info , I was looking for length and diameter of the shell cases as well, as looking at some of the pics the shell cases look as though they are larger diameter and have a slight taper - anyone have that info please?
Many thanks
Alwyn
Im just adding things that are informative.
Funny, all the real opportunities I've had to measure and record actual rounds for the main tank guns...................
Coulda-shoulda-woulda-didn't.
This is a pic that I will probably work from, it looks like a 1/35 model judging from the amount of detail, and the shells shown look like the JT ones that have a larger shell case diameter than the actual shell.
As they will only be in the ammo lockers then I don't think it will matter if they are a few mm out, so I can take an approximation.
Thanks Herman that looks like the one comparing to the model pic I posted. As an approximation I would say the shell case was 110mm diameter which should do for modelling purposes.
Thanks again for your help
