AWESOME! I love the revamped tail lights. And the flashing yellow light is mesmerizing. I am drawn to it like a moth to a flame. :haha:

Cheers atcttge, I just could not live with those lights in the wrong place, I seem to have developed a compulsion to sort out rear light clusters as done the challenger ones too! And the flashing light does add certain something! :-)

Few updates-

Was having trouble with the track overiding the sprocket again, when checking the track tension I realized that the road wheels were all extending to different points on taking the tracks off I realized the metal suspension arms had worn away the stops on the plastic hull, so time for some drastic action!

As you can see the arm bites into the plastic and slowly wears it away and works it way round, so I filed flat what was left of the plastic stop then took a pin vice and drilled a 1mm hole about 8mm deep where the arm should stop then cut down a piece of thick paper clip and glued in the hole to act as a stop, it's worked so far!

Now this left me with a problem! The leopard was lower so there was loads of track slack and the henglong track adjuster is not accurate enough to take it out so ordered a henntec adjuster from rctank.de.
The adjuster was easy to fit despite the German instructions, you just drill out the splines of the original adjusters, grind away abit of the 2 front screw posts ( if you look close in the following picture you can see you can still use these) then mark and drill holes for the mounting screws.

This is a really well made item and worked a treat!

But after all this disassembly my drive sprockets were still causing problems so time to dig deeper! After messing with washers and fiddling with alignment and thinking the drive axle was bent I eventually removed the gear boxes to find 4 of the 6 mounting posts were cracked and the gearbox's loose, am surprised they last this long to be fair as I have run this tank hard over all terrain and even under water!
So the solution? Grind out the old mounts and fabricate a new base plate for the gearboxes' to sit on and bring them to the correct height, then bolt the gearbox through these and to the hull, this setup has proved to be slot better!

Sorry for the lack of stage by stage photos here I get carried away and forget to take them! Anyway here she is all button back up and ready to go, does look alot better now she's riding lower, like I say this tank has done alot of hard miles so we will se what breaks next!

Impressive. Really like it that you did not make the recoil action move in slow motion, much more realistic.
