Is it true - limited production of HL Challenger 2?
Is it true that HL produced only a limited number of Challenger 2 tanks? Due to funding constraints I will only be able get one next year.

Re: Is it true - limited production of HL Challenger 2?
Imex has plenty right now and I've heard nothing about a limited run. Also, Imex plans a Chally with a metal lower and torsion bar suspension, so I'd say the Challenger is here to stay.

I may go for one if it's got a metal hull. Plastic breaks so easy!
Re: Is it true - limited production of HL Challenger 2?
Good point, Paul, and I'm probably wrong about torsion bar. I do know Imex plans the M1, the Leo and the Challenger, all with metal lower hulls. As for suspension, I'm not sure so I'll have to investigate further.

There's an Abrams chassis that using torsion bars and has the correct wheel arrangement

There you go:

It's not so clear from the photos but I think the torsion bars are angled slightly inside the hull so they don't interfere.

Given that the Challenger 2 has a Hydraulic suspension which is almost certainly not going to be reproduced by anyone in 1/16 It means that the most effective and cheap alternative will be fitted by the maker, can anyone come up with a suspension system for a 1/16 Tank that will be both effective and space saving ?
