This one is still pretty much stock. I added the four shaft V2 gearboxes and a komodo to eliminate track recoil, and she just got a henntec, so that meant new idlers, too. I'm thinking about getting the Torro tracks for her, as I think they're better tracks and should perform better. This tank has been a struggle right from the start, and the henntec is what finally got it to run half-assed decent.

Have you converted yours to a lift off top, or do you still have the battery box? Mine has the box, but I've been thinking ...

The only thing that remains of the original tank is the upper hull and metal running gear everything else has been upgraded. It's running a Torro metal lower hull, currently has the older version 4.1 hardened steel gearboxes, JP400 motors, output shaft bearings, IBU2 radio gear with amp card and 4 MATO speakers, TARR MKII smoker burning Megasteam , 7600mah lipo 2 cell battery, I swapped to a Henchel turret, installed zimmeret coating, metal cupola with machine gun, servo controlled bow machine gun that was upgraded to the late model 2 groove led machine gun from rctanks.de, the spare tracks are metal on the turret sides and all the hatches are metal and open up. I'm sure I've forgotten something but you get the idea. ;)

I'll post pics of my install hopefully later today.

Sounds like the extent I went to with my S33 Tiger One Early, which started as an all plastic Imex T1 and now has almost all metal and runs on the Asp. I run a Zippy 5000 lipo in that and get about an hour of solid run time, how long will one of those 7600 nimh batteries run your KT? I imagine you did some timing on the 96 mile jaunt, right? :) And how much does one cost? I can get the 5000 lipo for about $12 on sale at HK.

My Jagdtiger is very similar to your set up, IBU2 (just a T6 TX, but it's got the TPA with engine sounds on a viper so i have volume control of those from the TX), using the one inch speakers I just got (still experimenting with boxes but I think I can mount the speakers under the upper hull, directly below the two round screens to let all that racket out). I've been wondering, if I seal the face of the speaker to the bottom of the upper hull, would that make the whole interior of the tank act like a big speaker box? Hmmm
