Thanks! It did, though the adhesive sure gives off a smell!

Tim,

This is the Taigen plastic release (but I have some metal on the way). Is the metal hull option less inaccurate?

1/6 scale would be great, but hard to explain to my wife! It's all about sustainability these days.

hi Tom, what i meant was that the metal hull would be a lot more work to correct faults.
I dont know if the metal is just a copy of the plastic with all it's faults or if is an improved version.
Obviously much easier to chop plastic to correct the turret location.

I'd like to hear the answer to that as well...because as far as I know...the Metal Taigen still has the same plastic upper as the plastic version...only the turret and hull +running components are metal

TIM, Hi, When you say hull are you actually referring to the body (Which fits over the Hull?)
The HENG LONG and TAIGEN Hull's are not perfect but can be left alone unless you are a true perfectionist,
The BODIES are a different story and both HENG LONG and TAIGEN bodies are burdened down with failings.
shaun.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

Hi Jardice, Yes, i am aware of the top hull issues but was rather hoping the metal ones would be better by now.

Looks like i will have to stick with my Early Tamiya Tiger for now then.
I will get a late Tiger one day though.

Until then i still need to complete my Early Panther G.

Cheers

I have the taigen "all metal" tiger 1
The lower hull is plastic and metal. Road wheels tracks and shackles are metal. Back of the tank is plastic.
The upper hull is plastic with metal hatches has molded in tools also only the turret is metal,
I prefer the plastic turret as it's easier to mod.
It is heavy. As far as I know only mato makes an all metal one. I have their lower hull, but much prefer the taigen one
HL /Mato tiger 1 early, Tamiya Tiger 1 early, Taigen tiger 1 mid
Taigen T34/85, HL SU-100
Jagdpanzer Lang
Taiga Jagdpanther
Heng Long Sherman DGS Firefly kit
Tamiya King Tiger (unbuilt)
Mato all metal Panzer III
1/10 Jagdpanther
