Thanks, Paul, I'm still a real newb to figures but I'm slowly learning. There's a great article in the latest finescalemodeler magazine but he uses all acrylic paints and for the known reasons I'm not in a place to invest in all those paints. For one civil war bust (I once heard that called "The War For Southern Independence" and thought it was cool) in 1/16 (120mm) he must use a dozen different colors. I haven't priced acrylics, but enamels are $2 - $4 a bottle so I'll have to muddle through for now. I still have camo to do on both (I'm just using the colors and patterns called out in the instruction sheet), the one gets a plain jacket and just camo on the pants, and I think I'm going to leave insignia blank for now, in anticipation of getting decals some time in the future. I have fairly close matches to the colors called out in the instruction sheet, do you remember what kind of paint you used on yours? I still have at least a half dozen more Dragon Warrior series kits to assemble and paint. Photos of your guys would be a great help to me, Paul, if you have any handy.
Yeah, that zoom is pretty cool, but I can see my hand is nowhere near steady enough and the current tripod ain't cuttin' the mustard. Again, I'll just have to get better as a new tripod isn't an option at the moment. The one shot where the 1/18th figure in the PzIII suddenly comes into focus made me chuckle. I still need to find time to learn to edit. Not today, though, today I'm trying to get the barrel recoil in the airsoft T1 working. Back to work!

When FDR coined the phrase "The Arsenal of Democracy", he was talking about Detroit. Proud to live in the 2nd most violent city in America!!
