Don't worry mate, I'm there in the same ward alongside you. I'm sure there was another thread aways back which said there would be wheels and tracks for a famo out soon which would tend to suggest there must be a Famo somewhere in the pipeline.

Hi folks,

Well, the Chinaman said my two 88s would usually take 10-20 days to arrive, but to wait up to a month till I tell him of a no-show at this end. It is now ~10 days and so the tension is beginning to build. Still, I've now been waiting for something from here (UK) for the same amount of time too!!
>:(

What am I going to do with them? Dunno. Put one in the loft and marvel at the other maybe?

As for a Famo build, how about copying this?

Amazing work.

And yes, I have seen a resin Famo being advertised somewhere (on a German site). So one must be on the cards and no doubt someone will try to RC that....

Oh, here it is:

Or all metal....

Too many toys, not enough time....

Hi Guys there is a Famo kit out there its about 270 euros ,the problem is its all resin and wouldnt take the load of being R.C. converted the wheels and tracks would break to easy,so if you want a Famo you will have to scatch build one or get Septon to scatch build one for you .

with the obvious interest in a famo, i dont think it will be to long before we see one on the market, a resin one like pete said is 270euros, in my book silly money, so if someones making one or those then its a matter of time before a rc'able one is out

I checked the website, they have the famo crane and prime mover for the 88 as 1/16th kits but £225 is a bit rich for me especially in resin which can have a few problems in the moulding.

Personally I'm not bothered if its r/c'd or not as in this case I prefer a static model to display but I understand other peoples requirements. Fingers crossed someone will read these posts and decide it may be a good idea to produce one.....or two different vehicles.
