Hey Guys,
Tired of doing the Aber and I really don't like the look of the Mitosal/Impact wingnuts. Anyone got another source???

Re: wingnuts
Hi, "SCHUMO" make a nice set of Wingnuts/Butterfly nuts, they are unfortunately no more practical than the Impact/Mitosol versions, and whilst they have a better look they are no cheaper.
I chase the thread of my Mitosol Wingnuts using a "ROLSON" tap & die set so at least they are a practical working example. I see no reason why you couldn't do the same to the "SCHUMO" Wingnuts.

Re: wingnuts
Those are the same as the schumo but you only get two vs five with the schumo and the price is the same!Kiaser wrote:Okay DG I am not sure what your looking for but have a look at![]()

Re: wingnuts
Here's a cheap and easily found alternative:
Despite the 1/48 tag the larger ones are almost spot-on for 1/16.
Only issue is they don't have much of a thread / stub - but you could drill them and add a brass rod for strength...
