I built the cover that hold the vents as a separate piece that allowed me to pretty easily install the vent vanes.

I had to do mine over lol...did it last night...took me a few hours....I noticed something on ATC's build...that I hadn't noticed in live photos or in your build...that there is a little box below the vents...So I had to cut all the vents that had been done...and redo therm  ...Have to do the lift rings hinges and grip handles still ...pictures should follow after that's done
I did my APU in one piece :shifty: ....Used the stock HL that came with the tank and cut the extension off...that is when "easy" ..became a word of the past :lolno:
You'll see when I post pictures of it ;)

Here are pics of how I corrected my mistake and made the copula stationary with only the 50 cal gun mount ring rotatable on the stationary c0mmanders copula.

What I did to correct the fact that the slot I filled turned out not to be perfectly round and the pins I used to hold the ring wore down very quickly.

You really didn't cause me the work as somewhere in my mind the whole moving copula always bothered me the exact reason of which I wasn't aware until you posted that link to a site I used when doing research and I realized that I must have read the line about the fixed in place copula but at the time but did not have it register as somethin I needed to do to get the detail right.
I like to change the poses of the tanks I have out and the more the details move the better. Like making the top gunners shield in my Stug be able to have the machine gun move or be removed and the shield folded down.

I hear you Giant....repositionable components do enhance your modular back ground work...you have any ideas for this one?

Right atcttge and thank you for it.

Alpha I've been collecting cardboard food boxes like pizza and cereal come in to make some rather flat desert county looking buildings That have very little detail on them other then paint and windows. Need to try my hand at making some palm trees.

Sounds ambitious... when I first spoke to you about your "SETS"....just so happen ...I got a package from ebay...big chunks of foam in it ...perfect for making walls...just haven't had the time to plan and configure everything

PS...You don't have roaches? ...man if I used food boxes...the background would get eaten by the local 747 roaches we have here
