Dang I should have got one when I was there....that was more that a few years ago...and tools were the last thing on my mind :haha:

By the way...that fret saw....is the back bow solid or hollow :D

yes I think also, doesn't really matter, but so you've a better feeling for yourself. To be old is one thing, to be good is a better thing. :shifty:

To your question: I'm quite sure that the bow is actually a little steel pipe (around 10 mm diameter) which was squeezed together at their ends - hence hollow...

So very true Hotte...people can question...but can never change how you feel about yourself :thumbup:

Thanks Hotte...have to say..after seeing your fret saw....and the depth it can get ... I'm inspired to make one :D ...coping saws are way too shallow ...the blade would be the trick...but I think I might be able to use xacto coping saw or jig saw blades...just because they are shorter than most ;)
