blimp,
It has a flange bearing on both side right now, but maybe I have it in on the wrong way ? How would it stop the frame from flexing ? As it is now I have the flange on the inside of the frame and I think that's the way it came.
Thanks !
Michael.
Can a gear slip one way and not the other ?

Just another thought Michael.... does the axle spin true when you just power it up ?....maybe your axle is bent

Just another thought Michael....to stiffen the cages....sandwich some epoxy between the stock cage...and a plate of steel cut to the same pattern having provisions for "flaps" that will cradle the high stress points
