M4A3E8 (Fury Movie) Sherman build

I've read that the Tamiya FO Sherman doesn't have recoil actually. Something about the turret being too small. T23 and Firefly turret conversions often seem to have a Pershing recoil unit stuffed in.

It Doesn't?????????????????? What a rip off

Anyway...that's why the Tamiyas make good project tanks ...the turret still has plenty of room for the micro servos that power the recoil and elevation
Also the reason Nick Aguilar's parts work better with Tamiyas than any other brand of Sherman

hi old chap
if one can get himself the full Tamiya,,suspension parts, pershing tracks and sprockets/idler [hl] then you can graft these bits to the hl Sherman hull ...... fynsdad has done this so it is possible do check out his thread .....wot wot .....
