DMD-Planet T5

Post by Jake79 »

Hi All

I'm having trouble trying to programme the DMD unit, the unit will only flash orange, I've been told this means it's not picking up the signal from the tx, I'm using a Planet T5 and receiver..Any help here wold be much appreciated...

Thanks Jake

Hey, I saw your PM. I don't have a planet 5 but did you bind the TX and RX first?

Yep, that bit is quite simple with the T5 there's a little button on the side of the rx you press and that's it..

Have you got a servo or any or radio control device you can use to confirm that your tx and rx are communicating properly?

Nope, only got the other tanks and an unbuilt k/t no servos, I could take it apart, I thought there were a few switches inside you might have to move, what about mode 1 and 2? don't know how to change that...

I've had a third read of the Planet instructions it is set up right, the tx has def binded to rx....I don't know why the dmd doesn't recognize this..this seems odd, someone else must have a planet t5?

Sounds very strange. Was tested before I sent it, can you get any pictures of the wires that plug into the reciever? On one of my tanks I had to resolver these and I can't remember if it was this one. Might be a wire has come loose.

You've got the plugs to the reciver the wrong way around the white signal wire should be at the top :)
