Thanks Giant.... just finished the exhausts last night...will be reinforcing the hull and putting in new gearbox mounts today or tonight...the metal work probably won't begin till next week...as the hull still needs quite a bit of tweeking still

Thanks again for keeping the faithImage

His detail work is amazing. The little belt buckles ect. I will probably never bother detailing to that level. still I look forward to seeing yours. I left him a tip on his last build thread about small springs. Real springs that could be used to detail or make something like pz 4s mud flaps work or just to make the rear flaps look like a real spring is in there, can be gotten out of those cheap see thru disposable cigarette lighters. They push the flint up against the spark wheel. They are long and small enough enough to make about 3 springs to replace the molded on ones on American tank loaders hatches, static nonworking items but they look better then the molded in plastic ones. Slightly larger springs can be gotten out of Bick lighters.

Yeah... my eyes are too far gone to play with PE ...they do look great and add a lot to the detail.... makes for a proud presentation...but for me it's all about the build...getting close to what I'm aiming for is satisfaction enough
It's a good part of the genre I build...as in GIRLS UND PANZER... the tanks are refurbished after every battle...thus certain things really don't need attention ;)

Have a good one GiantImage
