Good Morning, Panther,
It's good to hear that you are up and around. Sorry that the weather is not cooperating. I'm looking forward to your exploration pics and hearing how you are going to upgrade this Sherman.
regards,
Painless

Hi Guys.
I am still looking for options to build; the ones I have seen so far were not in Normandy until later in the month. Or I cannot find any photos of the real Tank landing.
One option I am looking into are the landings on Sword or Juno beaches "H" hour to "H"+ 3hrs.

Juno Mike Green. 2 Royal Marine Support Regiment. ‘P’ Troop. LCT 1008(A), LCT 1009(HE), LCT 1013(CB).
‘A Flotilla of LCT(A), (HE), landed with Centaur tanks of 3 Battery, 2 Royal Marine Support Regiment. These LCTs also carried teams of engineers and personnel for beach obstacle clearance.’
LCT 1013(CB) 2 Sherman Vc Firefly with 8 crew from 6 Canadian Armoured Regiment, Space for extra ammunition

LCT1009(HE) from 105 LCT Flotilla carrying, 2 Centaur Tanks, Tow Porpoise MkII. 2 Sherman's and 1 Carrier Universal. plus Tank crews, Ammunition handlers.also 6 men from ‘B’ Company, 8 Kings Regiment. Beach Group.
Space for 50 rounds extra ammunition stowed loose.
2 D7 Armoured Bulldozer with 4 man vehicle party from Headquarters RCE 3 Canadian Division Special Bulldozer Increment
1 Car 5cwt 4X4 (Jeep) with 3 crew from 18 Canadian Field Company RCE.
11 men and an Airborne Truck from 18 Canadian Field Company RCE.

The Sherman's are described as Sherman V. OP.
I will go into Photobucket and juggle up a picky.
The obvious difference being the lower front hull and the commanders hatch.

Good Evening, Panther,
As I work through the 105mm, it struck me that I had not seen you update this one in a few days. Everything all right over there?
warm regards,
Painless
