Thanks for the comments guys.... :D
@ALPHA.....Good idea with the Velcro.... but I went with the 'Magnet' .... I figured that it gives him the option to ' swap' the crew around if he wants to, the Grenadier also has a steel screw in the base of his jacket ...
.
........ almost forgot to add... I have been reliably informed by my son that ...The feared L3G0 MP45 machine gun.. can also fire grappling / grabbling hooks to allow the Playmobil soldiers to climb up the furniture AND spikes so that the soldiers can 'stand & and climb up ' on slippy surfaces.......
.......Isn't imagination a WONDERFUL thing ? :D
:haha: :haha: :haha: GRENADIERS BOARD THAT TANK! :haha: ...Awesome.Dietrich... :D ...Now he can have imaginary battles having the enemy grab onto the gun.. then shake them off ....can't beat the wonder of serendipity :haha:

Update,
....... NO Damage to the Tank....... ... The only 'fault' is that it does tend to start to shed a track if it turns to sharply on carpet... (So I may need to compare notes with Storky over his version )...
Latest addition.. Camo netting on the rear..

.
Mounted on the removable rear storage....Simply held with self taping picture hooks and bent pieces of wire that rotate around and are held by their own tension into two more self tapping picture hooks..

.
Camo net is simply a bandage that was unrolled to full length, cut into sections and sewn together in 5 strips wide before being 'painted' with a brush.... Its crude but it works...

Dietrich.

Shedding tracks on carpet? Sounds like you need a track tensioning system. My son's tank turns fine on anything including grass!
Track tensioning system using a 3mm threaded rod and a suspension part from an RC car. You will need to cut a slot in the hull to allow the axle to slide back and forth etc.
