Hello folks,

After finishing a few nagging projects, I'm ready to start gathering parts for my Leo build. Regrettably, the K11 kit I was going to use to convert the static 1a4 back to RC is out of stock. Does anybody know if there are other, comparable options for a conversion?

Pardon my ignorance, but are the electrics a straight swap? Keep in mind I've already got the Tamiya 1A4 kit.

I think you're addressing me... the answer is no... they are not a straight swap...the components aren't really compatible ...if you really have your heart set on that K11 conversion kit.... since it's out of stock... if you can't wait... just part it out and use other manufactured products and create your own package that fits the specs of the K11 kit
there are a bunch of shops out there... so the best I can recommend is checking the listings of good sellers this forum offers

GOOD LUCK :D

Hi imthatguy,
Welcome to the Forum.... A very interesting first project in the 'Tank' world.....
You have some great models there ....I love the two Land Rovers..the Defender and the Series III....... It looks really strange to see a Series jacked up so high.. 8O .. Are there actually some converted like that in Canada ?
EDIT :-.....Looking at the photos again..... The leaf spring has been moved to the TOP of the axle....I have seen that done on the small Suzuki jeeps... ( To make them even more liable to roll over )
.
Looking forward to updates on the project as it progresses ... please try and post some photos :D

PS. There is a search box located in the top Right Hand corner of the main Forum banner...which is pretty good...but if that doesn't help then please just ask !
