In case you haven't yet, you might want to consider a third hand my friend. Great for soldering, painting, attaching, etc... small bits. Sometimes I even add a fourth hand with little clamps to hold multiple things together for work.

Hi,
Thanks Dgsselkirk that would be a great help, in fact I goggled it and they sell them at Maplins so I will go there tomorrow and pick one up and I already mailed for the postage of the kit to upgrade the basic tiger. So hopefully I will have two tigers upgraded. It will also be great for holding other small bits I need to do bits to and like mentioned be great for holding fiddly bits to paint.
No problem! I agree, they are great for holding bits to work on. Think about buying 2 as they are really cheap. I find myself using them facing each other to hold mulitple items. For example in the picture shown if you have another one facing in holding the solder the only thing you are worrying about is the iron. Or if you have larger pieces you want to hold together (things like fenders )you can use them inline....

Thinking leads to buying, and more buying, then even more buying and so on.
