Help! My U.S.M41A3 dosen't Work

Help! My U.S.M41A3 dosen't Work.
First the tank stopped driving then you could press the start button on the transmitter & It would start up you can here the engine sound but nothing else worked.
then all I got was the lights on the tank front & rear just flash!

I took it apart & bought a New heng long RX18 multi function box unit with leads ( cables ) Also a Heng Long 1:16 rc Tank 27mhz transmitter controller for Smoke & sound & BB

Heng Long 1/16 rc tank FM crystals 27.145 mhz-set 1 & Heng Long 1/16 rc Tank TK-YL101-3 receiver board for use with rx18mfu BN .
Put them all in the tank STILL THE SAME any ideas.

I'm no trying to be funny but have you tried another battery?

All of those symptoms do sound battery related, especially the progression in which they occurred. Good Luck!

I put a new battery in as well still the same !

just a guess Truebrit.... check your hookups.. something isn't connected right... you cannot have that many new parts and still have the same problem....there's a post somewhere in the "fix your tank" category .... it has wiring and hook up diagrams... try looking for it.... If i find it first... I'll try and bring it here

hi. just my 2 pennys worth here. I notice you say you have a new transmitter. I would suggest you check the crystals and make sure that the tx crystal is in the handset and the rx is in the tank. I know it sounds obvious but ihave known people get it wrong and look for a more complicated solution. also make sure the legs on the crystal are making contact with the prongs in the handset and the tank. again they often look as though they are in there but don't quite connect. try your crystal from the handset without the black clip so you can see where the legs are going. if it doesn't fire up then the next suggestion is another set of crystals that you know work. so we will go for that for the moment and see if that works? dave
