wsn m16 haltrack
These are some pics of my wsn M16. I've weathered it and hinged everything except the hood and the gunners turret panels. I also replaced the hard mudflaps with flexible ones made out of some kind of plastic that was in packaging material for something that I dont recall. All the hinges are from a dollhouse fixture supplier and match the molded on ones perfectly.

Re: wsn m16 haltrack
Thanks for the encouragement. I still have to do the nut detiails on the inside of the areas that I hinged. The 50 on the cab roof is really something that Ive never seen on a photo of a ww2 anti aircrft M16 but I have seen them in pictures of US Marine machines used during the Korean war along with added ammo box storage racks fabricated above the front window armor. That may be the next change I make to it unless I can find a cheap junker on ebay in the US as new ones have completely disappeared from the market.

Re: wsn m16 haltrack
Have a good time with it. The unit is externally pretty accurate. Making the front windshield armor plate operational is the most work. In my last asnwer I said that I have never seen a picture of a ww2 M16 with the extra 50 cal mounted by the windshield but since then I have found one its poor quality and appears to have been modified by ww2 censors ( no vehicle id on side if hood and the word US ARMY added to the side just behind the drivers door). I believe the picture was taken near the Reamegen bridge of a vehicle dug in on the river bank as the allies tried to keep the bridge up while the germans mounted many air attacks on it. The picture has no identifiers on it .
