Asiatam Tiger 1 Sprockets & Idler wheels.

Post by Red Devils »

Hey guys,

Another quickie here for ya's, I got the Asiatam Tiger 1 Sprockets & Idler wheels set from Steve at WD, what great piece of kit. I was wondering, do the two halves for each part have to be bonded together? If so, what would be the best adhesive or method to make them one? Thanks in advance.

No need to bond them together, the screw fixing holds them tight enough and the separate halves make it easier when taking them off to change or adjust the tracks, especially metal tracks.

Thanks for the reply Jonger but what about the rear idler? I can see the sprocket but the idler uses a simple pin with a notch in it for when it is screwed to the idler arm. Any ideas? Thanks

Mine are just pushed together with a little squeeze from some pliers. Find a tight fit and a screw driver to seperate them again.

On one Tiger though one idler kept coming apart so a dab of super glue and been fine since ;)
