Mato Gearbox shaft

Anyone know where I can get a long output/drive shaft for a Mato gearbox.

I noticed my drive wheel was a bit wonky and the output shaft was bent slightly. I bent it back and it ran fine until I fitted the tracks and the damn thing snapped.

I don't think you can buy the shafts seperately. Dam shame as those brass shafts bend so easy

If you know anyone who can do metal work maybe get them to copy the brass shaft in steel. Then he can sell the shafts, he'll make a killing

I personally haven't got any more mato or other brass (even the new watersons premium ones look same) for that reason. Last few gearboxes I got was the black steel ones which so far haven't broke but time will tell.
