HL Jagdpanther cut and tuck
This was the first styrene attempt of mine, and to also open and hinge hatches that are sealed on HL tanks.
I also added tow rope holders, made my own vent covers, and added the chain and pins too.
thats about it I guess

Re: HL Jagdpanther cut and tuck
The next pictures are of the paint job.
I was actually going to leave it as dark yellow and red brown but after posting on Hobby Havoc a forum member showed me the light and posted a pic of what she should look like so I added dark green and it's proof as to why a second opinion always helps

Re: HL Jagdpanther cut and tuck
Great stuff.Just up my alley.
I have a Tam JP on the way, and I would like to know what type of material you used to make the track hangers and chains(what size)
Thanks.

Re: HL Jagdpanther cut and tuck
Thanks guys,
Maxmekker the hangers are out of styrene shaped by me.
and the chain i bought o e bay and here is the link
http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?_from ... Categories
Or PM me your Address and i'll send you some as you can see by the link i have plenty
I used standard sewing pins which fit perfectly in the links then used liquid solder to fix them and trimed the pin to length.
Dietrich cheers mate and yeah sure i'll paint your tanks
but it's not the same if someone else does it.
to get the hard line for the camo i used blutack and paper to mask off, it works well

Re: HL Jagdpanther cut and tuck
Here are two pictures of making the spare track chains.
liquid solder has a low melting temp and you can even use a lighter
I used my butane soldering torches naked flame and it literally takes a second!
