Hi,
If you look at the centre of the Tigers front drive sprocket there is a raised middle. This part is a plastic plug which can be carefully removed with a small screwdriver or a knife point. Once this is removed you will see a small allen key bolt. This can be undone to allow its removal. BOTH of the bolts undo in the conventional manner...so anti-clockwise removes them and clockwise fits and tightens them
Once it is out the drive sprocket can be carefully pulled away from the drive shaft on the gearbox.
There is a single 'Flat' on the output shaft from the gearbox and this ensures that the sprocket cannot be incorrectly fitted and DOES turn when the gearbox is driven by the motor.
If you have adjustable track tensioners then 'slacken them off' before trying to remove the front sprocket....If you do not have track tensioners then it will still be possible to just remove the sprocket without splitting the tracks.
As you pull the sprocket off the shaft manouevre it so that the track that moves out with it does not get hung up or stuck on any of the road wheels...so you may need to push them 'upwards' to clear the track guiding 'Horns'....once the sprocket is actually off the shaft you can then carefully rotate it 'Down' the track and under the road wheels....at this point there will now be enough spare track flopping about that the sprocket can simply be removed from under the wheels.
Then fit your new gearboxes without stripping the plastic posts of thread and you can then refit the drive sprockets the reverse of the way that they were removed.
