The commander that comes with the tank is in my personal opinion rather poo, (can I say that? sorry if I can't), so I opted to go for the Dragon 1/16th kit of Sturmbannfurer Jochim Piper, which with just a few additions, ie headphones and throat mic, (which I will be scratch building), I thought would do the job well.
so I set about putting the head together and then putting it and the hands on balsa sticks for painting I began, (yay at last I'm doing something to do with my project went through my mind
).These are the W.I.P. pics of what i've done so far, the cigarette and map will be added last after the throat mic and headphones have been added, or they may get in the way of the wires. I am going to make the model as two halves so that if when everything is completed I fancy taking some pics of him stood at the side of the tank rather than just in the coupola I can do.
