Hi there from the Netherlands
Hi there RC tankers,
I'm a 41 year old railroad engineer from the Netherlands and I just ordered my 1st RC tank. Your forums was a great help to find info and make my decision what to buy.
For my 1st RC tank I went for a Torro King Tiger Professional Metal Edition camo airsoft version with upgraded steel 4:1 gearbox instead of the metal ones, upgraded Visaton M speaker to get rid of the toy HL speaker, HL proportional smokemodule which is much quieter and obviously proportional, proper messing Tiger antenna to get rid of the toy antenna, and the Beier USM-HL soundmodule to produce proper sound and custom sounds.. I'm probably gonna upgrade to the even better Elmod and 2.4Ghz later when I get my second tank (also want a Tiger I).. I ordered it at http://www.rctank.de as that was the closest proper RC tankshop I could find that sold the tank.. Dominique from rctank.de was also really helpfull with lots of usefull info and he even preinstalled all the upgrades for me and tested the tank before shipping.. It's being shipped right now, so I'll have it any day now!!
Since I'm new to RC tanking I still have plenty of questions and stuff to find out.. I'll see you at the forums!

Hey dude,
Welcome to the forum and it sounds like your off to great start with your tank choice. Lots of great people here with a wealth of knowledge, so feel free to ask. Once again, welcome and post some pics of your beast.

Hi Inflatable,
Welcome to the Forum
That is a VERY VERY nice first tank....The Full metal version is good but your upgrades are great....Are you going to add the zimmerit paste to the metal turret or to file it off the hull ?
Alb.

Hi Inflatable (Opblaasbare??)
Welcome here at the forum, I'm new also in this RC hobby, but already had some nice pointers here. You'll find out that this is a mighty nice bunch of people.
