503rd in Normandy

Post by Shane Wolfe »

Apologies if I have posted this in the wrong section. I am awaiting a couple of books from Amazon but in the meantime I would like to ask a few questions regarding the 503rd and it's KT's during it's Normandy era phase of Op's.

Were the standard 2 or 3 tone camo schemes used/most popular?

Was the MG34 or 42 the most widely issued MG in AA mode?

Was the Zimmerit anti-mine paste extensively used?

Any other relevant information gratefully received.

Shane.
