Turnigy 9x 2.4Ghz on Tamiya Sherman

Post by cfredbandeira »

I bought a Turnigy 9x 2.4GHz transmitter and am having some trouble getting it to work with my Tamiya Sherman M4A3E8 conversion. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to use this transmitter with the Tamiya tanks?

I just can't set the DMD with the Turnigy rx conected. The lights on DMD still flashing in orange. When i change to a Futaba Rx/Tx the DMD works fine. But my Futaba has only 4 channels and i want to add more actions to this tank.

Plug a servo into the Turnigy Rx and see if it has bound with the TX. If you can't control it you have a binding problem and you'll need to bind the tx and rx again

I agree check that it has been bound, when setting the dmd up the stick controlling the gun up and down movement dont move fully up or fully down otherwise you wont be able to get the gun to fire or the machine to fire also I have the main gun fire set up too the spring toggle switch on the back righthand corner..

Let me know if you need anymore help and I could possibly email you the video set up of it...

I would be very grateful if you could send the video. I have little time during the week to research the solution to this problem.

Here is a link to the stock manual, it may not have the same manufacturer's name but that doesn't matter
