Radio Control Help
Radio Control Help
I can only get about ten feet of distance between the tank and controller even with new batteries. I've been thinking about getting a new radio but im on a very low budget. Will these radios be a good investment? If not please let me know. Any advice is will be appreciated.

Re: Radio Control Help
Tiny Tank if you change the radio you have to change something in the tank to accept the new signal. kind of bytes but that is the truth.
Now Mako in Australia does have a board that allows you to control an HL tank by changing the radio
http://rctanksaustralia.com/shop/index. ... cts_id=196
here is the site, and the board. good luck this is the only answer I know of without spending some good coin.

in a nut shell yes. I would suggest you buy one of the proven radio systems that are known too work, their are a list of them on the page. All 2.4 gh compatible so you should get some good range.

Ok. Yeah I saw that too. Once I get my new job this summer I will be able to get all the stuff i need no matter the price(maybe). I plan on attaching a wireless live-feed camera on my tank and modify a controller to a amplifier and a base station style antenna so i can sit at home while wreak havoc in town at the same time.

Sorry for not replying sooner, I've been very busy and exhuasted lately since summer started.
I'm not really sure at the moment. Radio stuff is a new thing to me. I will check out that website you linked on here and will try to give you the best answer possible.
I got my RC2HL a while ago and I was pretty impressed whith the quality of it and the packaging. Im hoping to initiate operation ankle ramming before january
Best of luck,
Gert
