Re: Baby Tiger I
That is a tiny tank lol!!!!!! And I can see your Tiger is going to be a fantastic build ! I can see you have removed the front armour plate! I replaced mine with the tamiya one! It was about 2mm wider but after I shaved it to size it was a good fit and Ment I could use the tamiya working MG ball as well!

I love the smell of napalm in the morning!
Re: Baby Tiger I
Hi, Yes I removed mine too. I builded it in plasticard and metal.
I add few pics more of the big brother of the tiny Tiger...Finally I finished with the Aber parts!
Please tell me what do you think about..
I "destroied few side fenders as, normally they were in real...nearly crying...for what they cost!
Any way I believe the job is fine, the realistic view I have is a pleasure now.
I added the mines launcers too..lights and now I'm working on the hatches..building supports for the two figures..
I hope to paint it asap!! The view will be different.
Cheers,
Gianfranco.

Re: Baby Tiger I
Yes tge fender damage look fantastic!! I like the damage on the from fenders!! Was thinking of getting some! How hard was it to build them up!
I love the smell of napalm in the morning!
Re: Baby Tiger I
It was from a scale from 1 to 10, 8.
The Aber part are really small, you need to use appropriate tools otherways you will have the risk to destroy them.
It is long, but the result is fine.
I suggest you to buy them, the tank appears different and more realistic as I said.
The original side fenders are thick, them seam to be part of the armour!!
The aber ones are thin as in the real thing.
I suggest you to buy the special Shumo parts for the tow cables holders, they are wonderfull.
The mine lunchers, on the base of the model you want to reproduce, will be the cerise on the cake!!!
Honestly, with pacience and plasticard you can reproduce them but I prefer to gain time and I choosed this option.
I just now finished to paint with base color all the upper hull.
Now it seams to be the Santa tank, all white snow, tomorrow I will use the german grey base and I will post new pics and you will see the result.
Cheers,
Gianfranco.
