Hey guys,
Would a Tamiya 1 Engine Access Hatch (Part # B-6) with all its bells and whistles, fit the top deck of a HL S&S Tiger 1? I know that i'll have to produce a recess for the hinge pins on the Tamiya Hatch but if that parts fit, I'll be a happy grunt. Later boys. Thanks for the help and one day i'll get some pics up of my Cdn Leo 2A6.

Re: Tiger 1 Engine Access Hatch
Hi there I've fitted the tamiya engine hatch to my heng long tiger and the tamiya hatch is a bit wider! So you will have to shave a bit of the sides but that's it! I've allso fitted the tamiya front plate so I can have a working MG ball and that was 2mm wider as well I think the tamiya Tiger must have a wider body by 2mm if you look in the heng long builds on here and look at The Tank Mans Tiger 1 build you can see the hatch fitted on my tank! hope that's helps! Gary.

I love the smell of napalm in the morning!
