hi all I am going to attempt to change over a burnt out Mato board for a HL RX-18. I have run into a few problems. I have the on off switch wires and am not sure where they go,and a purple battery wire and unsure of where it get's soldered to. Also the turret controls are for 12 pin on the mato but the Rx-18 only tankes an 8 pin. I am hoping to pick up an old mato board and transmitter but thought I may as well have a rack at this just to see if I can do it.

i think if your going to use the rx18 board you'll need to use the heng long transmitter and reciever board as well.
Never done this conversion myself but i don't think the mato transmitter will work the heng long electrics

i know what you mean i always forget where the wires go on the switch
i have also lost all my wiring diagrams so im copying a t34 i converted a few years ago is just a ballache opening two tanks at once to copy it.
i have still got the original mato electrics from my sherman if your interested?
